Good morning my active Rain family.....and what a great day it is here in the Philly area.

I attended Adoration at or Chapel at St. Joe's this morning as I have been doing since we opened it I think nearly 18 months go.

This has proved to be the best hour of my week.  I never let anything keep me from it and I have never gotten so much out of anything in my life.

To be in the presence of our Lord and to have the time to talk with Him and block out all other distractions that life brings.....is an experience that should not be missed by anyone.

Since I joined the Knight's of Columbus the time has a deeper meaning as I never had a rosary or said the rosary with any frequency.....I now do every Wednesday and have started to do it daily as well.....and that time, even if not at the Chapel, allows me to again block out time that is just for the honoring of the Lord.

Take time each day to say thank you to God and time to keep just or Him......have a Blessed day.

Just when you thought that is was a great Wednesday night for Downingtown, and it was with Congressman Jim Gerlach's presentation of his Federal Funds for the Boot Road Bridge project, our great Governor steps in yesterday with a check for $6,000,000.00 for the River Station Project on the former Sonoco site.  On hand to receive the funds were Jamie Bruton and Bob Smith from the Borough Council and Steve Sullins the Borough Manager.

This was done as Governor Rendell travels the State of Pennsylvania to deliver great news throughout it and hand out $78 M in much needed funds to many municipalities for their projects as well. 

Once again another huge step for the Downingtown community.

I know that my expectations about my current Real Estate Law class were, well, ones of a long day and the need to work at staying awake.

Was I wrong.......it was great.  Our instructor is teaching it for the first time at Suburban West Real Estate School and did she do a great job.  Her name is Flora Rubin and trust me when I say that day flew by, really.

I know that I have already found the need to make some correction in how I explain the Consumer Notice and the Listing contract......I can no wait until the next class.

I was fortunate to attend the announcement tonight from Congressman Jim Gerlach and the Federal funding of the Boot Road Bridge project in the amount of $1,200,000.00.  A great boost in the arm of the massive redevelopment project taken form in the Downingtown area and the private financing of the Percheron Group and Peter Uhlman.

The announcement was shared with many who know the hard work necessary to make a project that may be as much as $400M when complete.  joining in the announcement was State Representative Curt Schroder, most of the Downingtown Borough Council.....The Borough Manager Steve Sullins.....Police Chief Jim McGowan and many others....

The vision of this project was a result of the hard work of many of the town's business people including Hank Hamilton and Jeff Valocchi, thanks is just not enough.

I am very proud of the area and know that this area will continue it proud distinction as leader of the area while being the center of Center County.

I am looking for some insight form my Active Rain friends on the best questions to ask before I meet with a Seller as well as while I am with the Seller at the appointment.

I feel I have some, yet I know the my AR family will provide me with many more question's and answer's so that I have the basics and more.

this is a great opportunity for our team and I know that I could muddle through, yet this is a sure fire way to cover the most ground.

I just wanted to let my Active Rain family know that I have put my money where my mouth is.....I was nominated to fill one of the three upcoming vacant seats on the Pastoral Council at St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown.

The interview / dinner was in mid-June and the process was very informal and very social.

I knew some of the member's already, yet I was please to meet and interact a bit with those from my own congregation that I haven't had the pleasure.

I felt that I made an impression, yet the decision wasn't to be made until their July meeting.....well the letter came to day and I was selected.   I can not express how happy I am to become more involved in my Parrish and hopefully I will be able to contribute to this community and help us grow and reach or goals for it.

My first meeting will be in late September....stay tuned...have a grerat and Blessed day.

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

It seems very simple and easy doesn't it?  He clearly tells us that if we just go to Him and believe in Him we have the basic needs in our life handled.

As many of us have experienced, the good time never last and the bad times do not seem so bad once the good times come back around.

We can keep that up and down ride in perspective if we just go to Him and believe!

Well if you did not stop by, you missed one heck of a time.  The first (and of many) St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown was a hit and a success.

Saturday night's crowd was good and steady and provided a great finally to a good week of community, family and charity.

The Grand prize drawing was complete and good to say no incident's at all.

The banding together of the Church family, its leaders and the Knight's of Columbus all should be applauded for a great end.

I know that in our society those who have the BIGGEST, the BEST, the FASTEST, the MOST EXPENSIVE seem to have it all.....yet I beg to disagree.

Material "things" have the capacity to make us feel good for awhile, however we all need to feel good inside in order have an eternal life that we can enjoy.

I am not saying that you are not allowed to have nice things, you just need to know that whatever you receive is at His discretion and consent.

Be thankful everyday and know that He is the only one that will lead us through and into eternity.....and that comes from being humble, kind, loving, faithful and honoring our Lord....EVERYDAY.

Ths week the Dan Brudnok - John McGoven Team had its best week.

We received and successfullyy negotiated an agreement of one of ur listings and t was a cash deal and settles mid-August......John and I were both out today w/different Buyer's, the first time in our short time together an a promise of at least two listings in thenext two weeks and a small group of Buer's ready to get started.....so we are very excited.

Th TEAM is working hard each and every day and seeing the fruits makes it all the better....many ave supported our venture and we are seeing a bit of what is to come.
