2009 Business Plan....What's the BIG change for you?

This week my partner and I are meeting to get our 2009 business plan finalized.....and we need you help.

I would like to know what one thing you are changing, implementing new or breaking into that is truly outside your comfort level that you believe will propel your 2009 results.

This is the first full year of our partnership, and in 2008 we just tried whatever we could to see how we could move forward together.  I know we had some success's and failure's......so a plan is a must for us.

Two of our main area's of  growth are:

1031 Exchange

Referrals

I thank you in advance for your insight's.

Thursday Nighy Football...Week 16

Week 16 of the NFL has a Thursday night game that is BIG for at least one of he teams.....the Colts.

The Colts need the win to keep in the hunt for home field in the 1st round of the playoffs and continue to hone their season after a very slow start.

They see to be getting healthier at the right time...getting Sander and Addai back at full strength will be a huge boost....the Harrison hamstring will hopefully be a minor issue.

The Jaguars are just playing for pride and in my opinion must evaluate if Garrard is their future or not.

Week 15 in the NFL.....

This is going to be hard for me since Active Rain was down for me since the 11th.

I wanted to write and predict the 15thweek in the NFL, there were so many BIG games this week with so much on the line.

Here I go, however it is as the Monday morning quarterback.....

I can not believe that anyone is still interested in the AFC West winner....whom ever it is will be a one and done in the playoffs....

The Chargers are still in it at 6-8  as the Broncos took it on the chin again to a very good Carolina team.

The Panthers are in charge now in he NFC South, with the Falcons taking out the Bucs in what is one of the best divisions in the NFL.

The AFC East is a true battle as the Jets cannot seem to get out of their own way.....a gift yesterday with Buffalo.....as the Dolphins and Pats took care of business......

The Cowboys kept themselves alive as the Giants slid continues.....and they realistically lose home field advantage in the playoffs as well.

The AFC has its two first round bye's.....as the Titans once again fell and had no running game and is doe not get any easier next week against the best defense in the NFL....they also lost their best defensive player and anchor on the D-line...a great game next week.

The Ravens who played a great game against the Steelers too have the Cowboys next week and should be ready to keep their playoff hopes alive.

We still ahve the eliminated Browns and the playoff hopefull Eagles tonight....and the Eagles should blow them away and keep the playoff hope alive.

A Monday morning rant......I will apologize now.....

I really never rant to the point to turn anyone off, just not my nature.

This is the first day I have been able to get into Active Rain since the 11th and the truth be known I could not stay signed into Active Rain since the 10th.

Now considering all that goes on in ones life, this may seem small, however I have posted before that Active Rain is a big part of my day....professionally and personally.

I look forward to seeing the wealth of knowledge that is shared daily here and it provides me an outlet to share my experiences and find answers to what is important to me in my profession.

I am not sure what happened, yet I could not even access outside my home office.

Whatever the reason.....I am happy to be back.

NFL Week 15....Thursdays Game

This weeks Thursday night game is a much better match up than last weeks dud......

Chicago and Green Bay are in hot pursuit of Minnesota in the NFC North division.

Chicago needs to win out if it wants to make the playoffs......and a win over the Saints at home is a must!

They get GB at home next week too on Monday night and then finish week 17 at Houston.....a win-able situation.

Minnesota visits the division winning Cardinals in Phoenix this week, will the Cardinals be satisfied with the division and not push this week?  They finish at home against the young and hungry Falcons and then the Giants who may have the home field advantage at stake in the playoffs.

Enjoy what should be a much better game this week.

Keeping CHRIST in Christmas.......

Since I was old enough to know, it has always been CHRISTmas.  I know no other way to express what the season is and what it means to me.

I was asked to join a facebook group called Help keep Christ in Christmas.....and I just had to put in my two cents here in AR.

The reason for the season is the birth of the Son of God, plain and simple.  The way I have always celebrated Christmas surrounded the only meaning for me.

Attending Mass was more important than visiting Aunt Dorothy.  Even when I fell away from Church, I still always kept the holiday of Christmas.

Remember why we celebrate and remember the importance of the day......Merry Christmas is he way to say the day.

NFL Week 14 results......what does it mean?

The Steelers took care of business, it wasn't pretty.....however it was decisive.

The Cowboys are still in the thick of the NFC East with the Eagles again taking care of business and the Redskins taking it on the chin by the Ravens.....thus keeping the pressure on my Steelers.   The Cowboys and the Eagles meet in week 17 and could be the final NFC playoff spot.

The Cardinals took the NFC West also in a decisive way.......Congrats to the Cardinals fans.

The Pats bounced back, the Dolphins did too and the Jets once again left many a head scratching....thus making the AFC East a division that could go to week 17 to decide.

The Panthers took care of the Bucs soundly and now the Falcons can get right back into the thick of the playoffs this week against the Bucs.

NFL Week 14......a need to win!!!!

Week 14 of the NFL is a BIG week for so many, and many have their destiny in their own hands.

I am especially looking towards the Steelers and Cowboys game......for a few reasons.  First, my Steelers took the game they needed last week and made the statement I said they had too......second, the game is HUGE for the Cowboys and their desire to make the playoffs and lastly I am having dinner with some good friends and watch the game.....BTW they are Cowboys fans.

The Vikings need to take care of business and keep the Lions win-less.

The Eagles need to be the Eagles of Turkey day and make their own statement at the Giants.

The Panthers and the Bucs playing Monday night....in a NFC South battle of first place teams leaves a door open for the Falcons to continue their out of the blue season if they take care of business at the Saints today....a teams who playoff hopeful season is over.

NE should rebound in Seattle, the Broncos can finish the rest of their division by doing what they should do to the Chiefs at home today, the JETS should rebound after a terrible loss at home last week and Miami needs to have a huge game in Buffalo.

Lastly, the Warner lead Cardinals should complete their first division championship in many years today at home against the Rams.

Enjoy the day....stay warm and GO STEELERS!!!!!

You call that a game??????

For those of us who truly enjoy the NFL and make each moment of the NFL season count, what was that that the NFL channel showed on Thursday night?

I know that the schedule is done many, many months before.......yet could the NFL not see that the Raiders are many years away from being any type of a good team, yet one that deserves a Thursday night spotlight?

I know the Chargers were to be in the mix of things and with the poosr play of the AFC West, they still may be in.....yet the NFL shoul dhave made sure that any game that take the spotlight on a Thursday night game be one that would ensure a good game, and one that would be a draw for those without access to the NFL channel.....would want to pay to get it.

During week 3 or 4 this year the NFL should have made a switch in the schedule to provide us with a better game.....
