I do not profess myself as any type of computer guru......and I know that I should upgrade (excuse the pun) myself in this matter.

I have been looking for a new lapop, one that I can use with Clients in their presence.  I have not had the need before this year and now more and more.

I have looked and hoped to find a fast, relatively full of the needed software and oh yes....CHEAP.

I hope the Active Rain family will be able to not only help me with the basics I must have to be effective, yet where the best deals are on them.

I know there have been many posts about the lead services......I have been on the nay side of them all along.

I would like to revisit the premise......knowing that noting is free, anything worth having is worth working for yet I have heard some success stories lately and want to see what the Active Rain family has to say.

I appreciate all of the effort it takes to be successful, yet there are so many of the service's out there that some have to work to keep the other's starting up.

I am very happy for the City of Brotherly Love realizing a great championship.  Baseball s one of th hardest sports, a very long season and a short playoff that could make the best teams lose out because someone else gets hot late in the season.

As a born and raised Pittsburgh native, I have been fortunate to enjoy many championships and still cherish everyone.  I have married into the Philly fan club, yet I have followed all he teams for many years.....and I am especially happy for the family that has supported the teams all their lives.

I hope that the City has a great parade on Friday and gives the team the cheers it deserve's......

I decided to write once more on my last tri (and first in a long while) to the Lancaster County region of Pennsylvania.

I know there are many great Lancaster Active Rain member's who have kept you up to date, yet I wanted to share my wife's and my point of view.

A couple things.....

First, Lancaster has such rich and great history and sense of Community.....that is still present today.  The different markets and restaurants would keep you busy for a week straight.  If you keep off the main road (Rt 30) you get to see even more traveling say Rt 340.

Second, the growth out there since my last visit is out of this world.  This tell me two things, one that the area is changing and for me for the better....and two, that that the area is thriving....just look at the current new construction going on everywhere.....

Keep up what your doing there and I will get back sooner rather than later....

I mentioned in an earlier post today on the beauty of our ride through Lancaster County, PA today that I was there for specific reason and got the benefit of renewing ourselves with the beauty of the area.....our son Kevin's cross country event.

Kev is at Immaculata University and out of the blue he decided he wanted to run NCAA Division III sports.....ok, new for him.....he only ran 12th grade track in high school.

Kev works hard, is a great student because of his discipline, so I knew he would do the same doing cross country.....well, I was blown away.  I am not talking about his time, I am referring to his aforementioned discipline, and determination.

I would have never thought that he could have come so far in such a short time, yet watching him run made me very proud that he once again showed his maturity by his game - man - ship.   I am only sorry that my schedule did not allow me to get to an event before today......GREAT JOB SON!!!!!

My wife and I took a drive today on our way to watch our son run his cross country match today.....more on this in my next post.

What we did discover is the wonderful change of the season, and we surly have missed taking a lazy Saturday ride to enjoy it.

This adventure was to Lancaster County portion of Pennsylvania, and it brought back many memories of the days we spent there with the kids when they were small.

The season's change and we all need to take the time to enjoy the beauty of them.

When I joined the Knight's of Columbus a while back, I am now a 2nd degree, I was hoping that I would be able to become better in touch with my Faith through the Brotherhood of the Knight's.

Through the Knight's I have found my way to he use of my Rosary, something I have never done in my life.

What a life changing moment for me, the Rosary has become an almost daily activity for me....I have been doing my morning and evening prayer's, yet I have begun to have the Rosary as big a part as well.

The time I spend saying the Rosary is very fulfilling and through the time of prayer and reflection a deeper Love of the Lord and Holy Mother.

Give it a try.....what could it hurt?

I just wanted to say that while I am really not a BIG fan of Halloween, I see so many that are.

I drive through neighborhoods and see the extent that many go to to decorate their homes, some I know don't even do as much for the Christmas holiday.....

I guess when my children were little I was a bit more into it, again not for me.

What a great day we had on Monday (October 13, 2008) for the Downingtown Area Chamber of Commerce Golf outing that benefited the Terry Muzzy Scholarship Foundation. 

We were blessed with great weather (78 and sunny) for such a late date.

The turn out was 62 golfer's and many sponsorships that made the outcome a success.   Martie Muzzy was able to come and give us a great send off for the day with some truly inspirational words about Terry's contribution to the area and especially the Downingtown area School District.

I want to thank all who took the time to sponsor, give their time to the event and play the game.....without the support this event would not have been so successful.

Unfortunately I have been very busy lately almost two weeks and getting to do anything other than check my emails has been very difficult.

I came back yesterday for a brief bit, before being taken away to see a potential listing....YIPPEE!!!!  I noticed the changes to the screens here in Active Rain and I must say I really like them....and believe that the AR experience is greatly enhanced.

I hope to be able to comment daily again here.....even when busy because Ar is an important of the changes I have made to my business and know there is more to learn.
